Combustion and Reacting Flows

Research in Combustion and Reacting Flows includes topics that are related to energy systems, propulsion, air pollutants from combustion sources, the health effects of combustion and waste incineration, materials synthesis, and the formation of aerosols. The interaction of turbulence with chemical reactions in fluid flows is investigated. Projects are offered in experimental, computational, and theoretical research.
